Festival of Lights

The following is taken from the Science of Mind Magazine, December 2, 2010, contributed by Kathy Juline, RScP:

The light of Love is always present, even when it does not a first appear. Spirit, being omnipresent, shines eternally in your life and in the life of each of us. This is the inspiring message of Hanukkah, the Jewish holy day that is observed today. Hanukkah ... celebrates light as a symbol of freedom from fear and negativity. The message of this Festival of Lights is that an eternal light shines in the life of each of us, even in times that seem darkest. Recognizing this truth, we consciously align with Spirit and behold the light of Spirit shining in our lives. As we do so, we see beyond fear to the truth of love and freedom.

Our obligation is to give meaning to life and in doing so to ocvercome the passive, indifferent life.
Elie Wiesel

Light has the power to overcome darkeness; not by combating darkness, but by being exactly what it is:  light.
