Also an excellent article at Michael Tymn's blog at White Crow Books.

Hi August and Tim, it appears that the purpose of most of the work of mediums/circles in the past has been to forward information about the existence of, and state of, the afterlife as well as information about how our life in the material realm influences our future life in the spirit realm. Quite a bit of information has been presented on the afterlife.

What is the primary goal, or purpose, for modern day mediums/circles?

Hope you are well.

Richard

For 21st Century circles, much of the same that you mention remains in place regarding Spirit's agenda. However, there appears to be a Great Agenda, now beginning to seriously coalesce, as evidenced by the increasing number of physical mediumship circles arising around the globe. The use of ectoplasm is decreasing, in favor of the "new energy" or "photoplasm" which uses heretofore unknown forms of light to manifest physical forms; it is clear that photoplasm will eventually be used to manifest spirit forms in daylight. All this in aid of the Great Agenda, which most very likely involves connecting all the physical circles into one enormous group, for the purpose of manifesting many species of physical manifestation at once, the likes of which this world has never seen, and will hardly believe its eyes when it happens.
