The Disparity of a “Standards of Care” for Spirit Mediumship

Here is a link to a paper August produced about Mediumship and Standards of Care in the Behavioral Health domain, which was published by Paranthropology in their newsletter earlier this year.

Dear August,
Nice paper.Scholarly papers are good
indications of the attitude of their authors within a particular field of inquiry.I never felt you were over
speculating. There is a very real problem ,not only in what you write about, but also in the area of so called
mystical gurus.
Very well done.

Thank you, August for this groundbreaking paper! As a health-care professional who has had to hide my connection to Spirit, Shamanism, Alternative Therapies for most of my career, this is a breakthrough of the highest order.
I first became aware of my "dissociative disorder" while in the practice of medicine. I was aware of this dissociative experience as pathologic; but managed to get past it until it was incompatible with my own ethics and I had to pursue more non-traditional healing studies.
I have referred patients and friends to trusted mediums and channels when I felt their contact was critical in restoring the person's health, physical, mental and spiritual.
As long as we continue to practice therapies that are two-dimensional and consider anything outside of that realm to be pathologic, we are not healers.
Next on my reading list is ,"The Quantum Mind and Healing".
Once again, thanks to you and to Tim.

Thanks for the supportive, encouraging words. My own head is still swimming after writing the darned thing in record time - it was, of course, instigated by certain members of Tim's team. Actually it's not something I would have made myself do - too much work! - but I said "yes" to being of service, and the orchestration of resources and material to reach me in record time was phenomenal, if not to say numinous! It is far from perfect, needs some good polishing, but it's enough for progress of some kind. It's hoped that its obvious flaws will not overshadow the depths. Spirit does love to stir things up, and this might be the spoon to do it!
